A Rich Adventure, Part IMiguel always got the girls. They fell all over him, captivated by his musical talent and golden-blonde hair and capricious green eyes and that damnably charming smile. Tulio didn't think there was a good-looking woman left in all of Barcelona who hadn't swooned over his partner yet. Oh, sure, he'd gotten some flirting in here and there, and there would always be a few women who preferred his raven hair and taller, sterner demeanor. But usually, at the end of the day, it was Miguel who'd stumble in tipsily and wake Tulio up at some ungodly hour, with some giggling tramp clinging to him like barnacles cling to the bottoms of old ships. A Rich Adventure, Part IIThe first month and a half that Susanna lived with Miguel and Tulio, things were wonderful. Susanna still worked at her father's bakery during the day, and Miguel and Tulio would be gone too, taken up with whatever scam they'd cooked up recently. Susanna would come home first, and would usually get dinner started unless she was absolutely exhausted, in which case Tulio would cook.
